Second lecture on the history of Ukraine for a Russian designer (24.04.2023)

An extensive street lecture by Vitaliy Dribnytsya on the history of Ukraine for a Russian interlocutor. Among the verifiable segments: the real Red Ruthenia (the south-east of modern Poland) versus the invented “Novgorodian Rus’”, the difference between the pre-scientific and the scientific eras of historiography (Leopold von Ranke), and the official imperial theory of a “triune Russian people”, on which the 1897 census was also built. The material supplements the analyses “Kyivan Rus’ did not exist” and “Is the Ukrainian nation artificial”.
